Our 2009 Honourary Chair: Brian J. Mullan, Chief of Police, Hamilton Police Service
|
The Hamilton Police Service is proud to support the Week of Child and Youth in Hamilton, November 16, 2009.
As Chief of Hamilton Police Service, it is an honour to serve as the Honourary Chair of this important group whose goal is to recognize and honour the contributions of caregivers, parents, teachers and volunteers who make significant contributions to improve the lives of children and youth.
We join partner agencies in asking all citizens and organizations in the City of Hamilton to foster and promote children and youth as distinctive and cherished members of our community.
The Week of the Child and Youth Hamilton is an active and dynamic organization that plays an important role in our efforts to serve, protect and support in partnership with our communities. It is these partnerships that help make our community be safe and feel safe.
On behalf of the men and women of Hamilton Police, we hope you will join us in celebrating this year’s Week of the Child and Youth, in this, its 30th year of operation. Together, we can help to heighten community awareness of our children and youth as our future.
